Brisbane legends Custard release a second track from their new forthcoming album.
Indie rock champs Custard have revealed the video for their new track 2000 Woman, the second single lifted from their forthcoming album The Common Touch.
Coming a long way since their Girls Like That / Apartment days, 2000 Woman came together in somewhat spontaneous fashion.
Frontman David McCormack says: “This recording of ‘2000 Woman’ is the only time we’ve played the song. We talked about the chords and the basic structure then we hit the record button. Lyrically it deals with the fact that girls are better than boys. It’s taken me almost 50 years to work that out.”
The Common Touch – Custard‘s 7th studio album, is out October 6, 2017.
