Just when the music charts are dominated with lollypop dance tunes, you turn to your classic rock hits radio station or raid your parents vinyl to refreshen yourself with true classic pub rock.
As much as we love Jimmy Barnes around here, he is the godfather of Australian pub rock, still cranking out the tunes to this very day without stopping his trademark screaming. But his latest release (not directly from him, but he makes a ‘special guest appearance’) Barnesy is called up by DJ Yaleidys to do a dance remix of Dragon‘s hit ‘April Sun In Cuba‘.
What do you think? Cringeworthy or DJ genius?
Then again, it’s not the first time a classic Aussie rock song has had the doof-doof taken out of it.
