Amish Paradise (1996) – Bad Hair Day
In 1995, Coolio was dominating the charts with Gangsta’s Paradise, which was used as the feature tune for the 1995 movie Dangerous Minds, which the song itself was a retooled version of Stevie Wonder‘s 1976 hit Paradise Pastime. Then Yankovic took a different direction and made the song theme the polar opposite, making it all about the Amish and their isolation.
