Hey, “Weird Al” Yankovic is making a movie!
There we go – straight off the bat. Though technically he’s already made a movie over 30 years ago with the slapstick sketch parody The Vidiot from UHF, and cameoed in other flicks, he’s making another film.
This time, it’s all about him. The entertainer, who has over four decades of experience lampooning everything that the pop culture world throws at us, is getting a biopic-comedy about himself, with Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe donning the brown curls and moustache to tell the odd-ball stories that has made him the person he is today.
So… I’m making a movie.

The film itself is being made and streamed exclusively through The Roku Channel – which annoyingly isn’t available in Australia. So no doubt someone will pick it up for the sunburnt country eventually. So, while you wait for this new flick full of giggles, there’s never been a better time to re-kindle yourself with some of Weird Al’s discography that’s spread across 14 studio albums. Here’s a few of our favourites.
