Watch: Thor: Ragnarok full Trailer

It’s a premise that can be best described as ‘out of this world’.

Fresh from the screening at San Diego Comic Con in California, Marvel has released a bigger, longer trailer for the third instalment of the Thor franchise. Taking place  after The Avengers: Age Of Ultron and alongside the timeframe of Captain America: Civil War  – this time, we see ol’ mate Thor (Chris Hemsworth) being caught in the middle of the destruction of his home town of Asgard, after the evil and all-powerful Asgardian goddess of death, Hela (Cate Blanchett) wipes basically everything out.

So, after Thor has a re-think on his life, and ends up being pitted against his other ol’ mate Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), when they get imprisoned by The Grandmaster (Jeff Goldblum). After some bonding time, they have to bond together to get revenge against Hela and everything she stands for. But not without discovering that Loki (Tom Hiddleston) is still alive (Thor last saw him ‘dead’ in Thor: The Dark World) – being imprisoned the entire time.

If they’re going to go to war, they’re going to go – guns a-blazing.

Thor: Ragnarok out in cinemas October 26, 2017.
