The newest installment to the Marvel Comics movie universe has hit the online trailer world.
The sequel to the 2007 action hit Ghost Rider has Nicolas Cage returning as motorcycle stunt man Johnny Blaze, giving bad guys a flaming. Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance, set several years after the first film, will not have Eva Mendes returning. While Ghost Rider was a box office financial success, the film did receive negative reviews. However, it had a killer soundtrack with Aussie band Spiderbait working the theme song.
With the trailer to Ghost Rider 2 online, the vision looks more polished, with better CGI detailing on the skull of Ghost Rider himself, where in the first one, it looked like a wax mold that wouldn’t melt.
So you think it’ll be a hit? We’ll have to find out February 2012.
