Imagine if you combine Lord Of The Rings, the lifestyle of Bad Boys and the magic of Harry Potter together in the present day setting… this is what the result is.
Bright – The Netflix original film stars Will Smith, Joel Edgerton and Noomi Rapace, set in an alternate present-day. This action thriller sees human police offer Ward (Smith) and orc police sidekick Jakoby (Edgerton) who don’t exactly see themselves eye to eye. But, they just bond together to do their job – scanning the streets at night, trying to keep the town safe. That is until they stumble a stranger who has a magic wand-like relic, which while extremely powerful, can cause major disaster in the wrong hands.
The film is directed by David Ayer and written by Max Landis. Bright will be released on Netflix on December 22, 2017.
Just don’t expect Smith to be friendly with anything alien.
