Wake up, time to watch.
Smack bang 30 years after the events of the cult classic Blade Runner, we get thrown into the future, yet again.
Long after the events of Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford) going head-to-head with replicant Roy Batty (Rutger Hauer), we’re dragged into the world where Atari dominates once again, and we follow the life of a new Blade Runner – a special agent on the hunt to ‘retire’ replicants “androids”. This time, LAPD Officer K (Ryan Gosling) discovers a secret which could destroy what’s left of society.
But in order to solve the problem at hand, he goes to track down ol’ mate Deckard to help put the pieces of the puzzle together – even though Deckard has been in hiding for all these years. But not without replicant manufacturer and possibly bad guy Neander Wallace (Jared Leto) hot on their tail.
Blade Runner 2049 is out in cinemas October 5th, 2017.
