“Car RamRod” and the Troops are back, meow.
After 17 years, the Broken Lizard crew are returning, patrolling the highways for shenanigans.
Following the 2001 cult comedy hit Super Troopers, Ramathorn, Foster, Mac, Rabbit, and Farva are hitting the roads, no doubt causing more shit-stirring than normal.
While the Broken Lizard team have continued to produce other films since, such as Club Dread, Beerfest and The Slammin’ Salmon, these films have not been as successful. So, after many fans keenly vouching for more mischief and foolish behaviour from the drinking and pot-smoking patrol officers, Broken Lizard raised enough money from crowdfunding to get the sequel off the ground.
Not much is currently known on what the sequel is based on, but judging by the teaser trailer, the troopers are possibly Canadian Mounties at one stage of their careers, and Captain O’Hagen (Brian Cox) reprising his role.

Super Troopers 2 will be out in cinemas – out of all the dates in the year – 4.20.2018.
