Savage Garden Gets Metal Makeover

Get ready to rock one of your teenage memories with a heavy metal makeover of your favourite classic pop song.

Remember back in the mid 1990s when you swooned over QLD pop-duo Darren Hayes and Daniel Jones – aka Savage Garden – or at least constantly listening to their self-titled debut album on repeat at your local Sanity because you were too cheap to buy it? Especially feeling emotionally passionate about their second single To The Moon And Back where you wanted to persuade your crush that you wanted to ask them out but were too chicken-shit?

Now you can let out your frustration, thanks to Australian heavy-metal band LORD – who have tapped into the nostalgia and have given the hit song a scrubbing and rock treatment.

As part of their album Undercovers Vol. 1 , the veteran group have given other notable hits a makeover, such as Real Life‘s Send Me An Angel and John Farnham’s Break The Ice.

If you like LORD’s stuff, check out their official site and buy some shit from Bandcamp.
