This is My Geek Profile: A My Geek Culture podcast where we chat to various personalities of the Australian Entertainment Industry who have entertained us over the years.

Bruno Lucia is a name that people would associate with the phrase “Chicky-babe!” – coined by his character Agent Wayne Lovett from the Channel 9 sitcom All Together Now – a series starring Jon English, Rebecca Gibney, Jane Hall and more. The show ran for four seasons from 1991 to 1993, producing 101 episodes. This year the show celebrates 30 years since the original broadcast.

Little you may know is that Lucia’s career was quite extensive before he became a household name. From stand-up comedy, starring alongside Carrie Fisher in a Sci-Fi film, and popping up occasionally in other iconic Australian TV shows. His CV also includes presenting a national tour: In Conversation With The Sopranos, as well as cruise ship performances, and voicing the odd computer game.

Unfortunately, he lost a close friend in 2016. But Rock ‘n’ Roll never forgets, forgives or regrets. Nothing comes easy…. geddit?

We chat to Bruno Lucia about his amazing career.
