The lovebirds of Ramsay St perform a duet especially for us.Hot off the heels of the high-rating TV wedding of the century in Neighbours, Jason Donovan and Kylie Minogue carried their on and off-screen relationship to musical heights.
With both of them having individual music careers, thanks to the stardom power of their work on TV show Neighbours in the late 1980s, Donovan and Minogue perform behind the mic Especially For You for Donovan’s 1989 album Ten Good Reasons.
With the cheesy ballad of lovers confessing they’ll move the earth and everything for their significant other, Especially For You only reached the height of Number Two on the ARIA charts, but hit Number One in the European markets.
In 2012 – 23 years after they went their separate ways (but remaining good friends), Donovan and Minogue performed the song again at the O2 Arena in London.
