I’m so tuff I can post about this track from George Smilovici.
It seems the early to mid 1980s was a booming success for Australian comedy. Rodney Rude and Kevin Bloody Wilson were touring the country with their style of political incorrectness, Austen Tayshus and Billy Birmingham dominated the 1983 music charts with Australiana – a love poem to all this Australian… and comedian George Smilovici releasing his stand-up routine I’m Tuff in 1985. This proved so popular for him he stuck with the ‘tuff’ image and has served him well in present day.
I’m Tuff was an international success for Smilovici, even reaching number four in the New Zealand charts.
