Since 2000, The X-Men movie franchise has raked in over $1.5 billion dollars for the 20th Century Fox Corporation. There had been false starts and bad translations from comic books to the silver screen, but when the first X-Men movie was released, it re-wrote comic book adaption history.
11 years later since the first film, which spawned 2 sequels and a prequel, another prequel is about to hit our screens June 2011. With an all new younger cast (it is a prequel, after all), and more exposure to some other favourite characters which may have briefly appeared in the other lot of films, this should be a treat for the hardcore fan.
