Watch: Emoji Movie Two Minute Sneak Peek

by Matt Fulton July 11, 2017
written by Matt Fulton July 11, 2017

Just when you think Hollywood has run out of ideas….

Rewind to 1997, when the film Toy Story hit the screens. It was a marvellous wonder in 3D animated films and set the benchmark with animation.

Fast forward to 2007, and 3D animated films are a dime-a-dozen.

Proving case-point: The Emoji Movie.

Starring T.J. Miller, Anna Faris, James Gorden and Maya Rudolph, we follow the life of a smart phone text icon, Meh.

No… that’s his name.

Meh.

Actually, it’s Gene, who is a multi-expressional emoji, who sets out on a journey to become a normal emoji. But it doesn’t really matter anymore, as the movie is about short message services and an imaginary world therein.

I’m giving up explaining – just watch the two minute sneak peek as it’s self explanatory.

Now, stop texting and make phone calls.

The Emoji Movie is out in cinemas 14th September, 2017.
