Trailer: Ted

by Matt Fulton April 6, 2012
written by Matt Fulton April 6, 2012

This is probably the coolest movie of 2012 that doesn’t relate to any comic book action hero film.

Family Guy and American Dad creator Seth MacFarlane is known for his very low-brow toilet humour, which has made him a pop culture hero in today’s world. He now joins the ranks of South Park‘s Trey Parker and Matt Stone, and Beavis & Butt-Head‘s Mike Judge by making a debut feature film, with poo humour to boot.

Ted, due out July 2012, is centered around John, played by Mark Wahlberg. John lives an average life, who has a hot girlfriend, Lori (Mila Kunis) but also has a long term friend – Ted – a living teddy bear (voiced by MacFarlane). He and Ted have lived together for over 27 years, and it’s reached the point that Lori wants to move onward and upward, but without John’s larger-than-life stuffed toy who loves the green, women and doesn’t give a flying shit about life.
