It’s that time of year where we are teased for the next eight months. Overnight, the overlords at Disney and the Skywalker Ranch released the first teaser trailer for the final installment of the adventures of the Skywalker clan – aka Star Wars.
Star Wars Episode IX also has the subtitle – The Rise of Skywalker. What will we learn? Is our protagonist Rey actually a blood relative of Luke and Leia? How close is she with the bad guy-loosely good guy Kylo Ren / Ben Solo? Where has Lando been hiding this entire time?
And how does Emperor Palpatine tie in with everything, since we last saw him fall to his supposed death in Episode VI: Return of the Jedi?
All will be revealed around Christmas, 2019.
