What a world we live in: the hype of a teaser trailer is the norm, over a regular movie trailer.
Making his debut in Captain America: Civil War, T’Challa – aka Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman) – finally gets his sizzle teaser trailer for the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
What we see is Andy Serkis’ gun smuggling gangster Ulysses Klaue, with his arm still missing (after it was removed by Ultron in The Avengers: Age Of Ultron) giving Everett K. Ross (Martin Freeman) a rundown on what he saw in the Wakanda jungle – home to Black Panther. To help illustrate what he saw, we are accompanied by some neat action sequences by Black Panther, including one impressive gymnastic flip with a car.
So the hype is on. Will it live up to its predecessors? Going by Marvel Studios’ track record, hell yeah!
