Paper Scissors Rock

written by Matt Fulton October 25, 2010

Warning: Some puns are intended, some aren’t. I apologise. If you laugh, then they were intentional.

Let me cut straight to the point. The Paper Scissors are a strong, versatile band that have developed a cult following via their gigs, as well as receiving exposure from Triple J and FBi radio in Sydney.

A sharp, indie rock style that as a tinge of British rock to the tone, their new single “Lung Sum” will have you gasping for air… in a good way.

You may have already seen them perform with another Aussie band Bluejuice, as well as performing at the odd Falls Festival and Weekender.

There’s a few days left in their Lung Sum national tour, so if you live anywhere else other than WA and NSW, scratch up your coins, hop on a cheap flight and head to:

Hermann’s – Sydney
Friday 29 October
Tickets available from OzTix
(1300 762 545) or
www.moshtix.com.au (1300 GET TIX)

Curtin University – Perth
Friday 5 November

then back to NSW

Baroque Night Club – Katoomba
Saturday 6 November
