Umbrella release Weird Al and TMNT

Whoever says physical media is dead is not allowed to have the following in their collection.

The good folks at Umbrella Entertainment are going above and beyond for their movie releases, while tapping into your nostalgia.

In celebration of the 2022 biopic Weird – The Al Yankovic Story starring Daniel Radcliffe as Weird Al Yankovic (which the film is 100% accurate and truthful storytelling) getting a physical media release after doing its time online, Umbrella have sweetened the deal. Instead of just the beautiful Blu-Ray, you get other cool stuff  – for the price of $135 ($140 for 4K):

  • Get Weird exclusive 100% Rayon Custom Pattern Hawaiian Shirt
  • Getting Weird – The Story of Weird – 48pp perfect bound book
  • 8 Artcards
  • Slipcase
  • Limited edition numbered release

The catch? You have to buy it directly from their store.

The second doozy? A new edition of the 1990 classic Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Sure, it’s had multiple DVD and Blu-Ray releases in the past, but this time, it’s full STINK-O-VISION.

As you watch the movie, follow the guidelines included with the boxset, and scratch the panels for an immersive experience like never before. It’s like those scratch-n-sniff stickers you had at school, but more cowabunga!

Again, this is available through Umbrella‘s site.

They are available to pre-order now, as they go on sale April 2023.
