Everyone loves a water slide. It’s a pity though that you build the hype before you hop on your floating donut, then blink – you’ve splashed into the wading pool at the bottom. It’s worse when you’re an adult as you expect a bigger, taller, faster and larger slide to last more than 5 seconds.
Bring in the people at Norwegian Cruise Line and the Aqua Racer. While most cruise ships have a pool and water slide of some sort, these guys have made the slide more interesting.
While the ride length is an average 25 seconds, it at least mesmerises your mind with fancy pipe colours, natural lighting, and a ‘blink and miss it’ awesome view to make you feel like you’re floating for 1 second.
