In conjunction with the Working Dog / D-Generation / The Late Show fan site Champagne Comedy, we are proud to help promote The Champagne Comedy Podcast.
A fortnightly podcast that gathers a small group of fans who review and critique The Late Show – an Australian comedy series that ran on the ABC from 1992 to 1993, making Rob Sitch, Tom Gleisner, Santo Cilauro, Mick Molloy, Tony Martin, Tom Gleisner, Jane Kennedy and Judith Lucy household names.
The show itself ran for 40 episodes, with ‘best of’ compilations released on VHS, DVD and digital.
Join (in alphabetical order) Alison, Anthony, Daniel, Kim, Matt and Prue in a discussion of The Late Show episodes, breaking down jokes and references, and highlighting obscurities since the original broadcast from 1992 onwards.
So if you’re keen on some escapism and think of a time in your life when watching The Late Show on TV was the best thing in the world, please dust off your worn bootleg VHS tape and join them by subscribing to the podcast.
