Basketballers and dancing do not mix.
In a world before the internet had viral sensations, you had to grab the attention of the general public by releasing v-i-d-e-o  t-a-p-e-s of stunts, gimmicks and other mumbo-jumbo and hope that the media would pick up on the campaign you’re pushing.
It appears someone at the NBL Headquarters were doing some dusting in the storage room in preparation for the Heritage Round, and found this vintage piece of material which appears to be from the early 1990s – a small gathering of top notch basketball players of the time doing a dance routine.
Watch in amazement as players Andrew Gaze, Shane Heal, Ray Borner and others dance a forced attempt at Nutbush City Limits to the tune of Real Wild Child, with a bit of Hot Potato hand movements thrown in.
At least they didn’t give up their day job.
