A mystery whodunnit board game is adapted to Australian TV.
The cult classic board game based on the old fashioned “whodunnit” format was adapted for Australian television in the early 1990s by Crawford Productions. Hosted by Ian McFadyen, with an ensemble cast playing the characters directly from the game itself, Cluedo lasted 21 episodes over two seasons.
The studio audience received meters to judge on which character was telling the truth, and the home viewer / audience member would try and solve the mystery and be in the draw for the major prize. Each week, any character that died would come back alive and reset all over again.
Starring:
Jane Badler as Mrs. Elizabeth Peacock
Nicki Paull as Miss Vivienne Scarlet
Andrew Daddo as Professor Peter Plum
Peter Sumner as Reverend Clem Green
George Mallaby as Colonel Mike Mustard
Joy Westmore as Mrs. Blanche White
