Kidults Jade and Ryan release episodes of the kids cult classic.

Throughout the 1990s, many kids would wake up before 6am in order to prep themselves with their coco pops to watch 3 hours of cartoons, plus some bits inbetween.

Jade Gatt and Ryan Lappin hosted Cheez TV, a show on Channel 10 that would start straight after Aerobics Oz Style (which if you watched it, you were too early!). The weekday show would play cartoons such as Pokemon, Dragonball Z, Extreme Ghostbusters and many others. Between cartoons, the guys would conduct interviews, perform sketches, and show fan mail. It was highly popular with school children and developed a cult following from its broadcast from 1995 to 2001. After the show was wrapped up, Gatt and Lappin did separate projects.

But up until 2015, the guys got back together on social media to reminisce over the fun that was Cheez TV, including making their own podcast (jadeandryan.com.au). They’ve also been restoring their tapes of the show, and are now gradually releasing episodes on YouTube and Facebook – minus the cartoons, for legal reasons.
