Trailer: Powerless

DC Comic’s first venture into the comedic TV world is around the corner.

While FOX and The CW have DC Comics titles Gotham, Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl and Legends Of Tomorrow under their belt, NBC have donned the mess that the caped crusaders leave behind and are about to launch the new show Powerless.

Starring Vanessa Hudgens who plays Emily Locke – who is the Director of Research and Development for Wayne Security (Bruce Wayne, undoubtedly), Danny Pudi as Emily’s sidekick Teddy, and Alan Tudyk as the new boss of the building. Their job is to invent and protect products that are designed to help innocent everyday people from the turmoil that our superheroes and villains create while trading blows.

The mind ponders with the rights to which DC characters may or may not make an appearance by name or visually due to various rights from studios, but judging by the promo spot, the quick paced humour and cast will make it fun not to think about it.
