An epic achievement is in motion that Zapp Brannigan would ultimately sleep with if it were a woman.
While fans of the Matt Groening cartoon Futurama saw it’s demise the second time around, fans around the world still have a torch lit for Fry, Leela, Bender and the rest.
One man took the passion for the show one step further and put together a fan-made film of the sci-fi cartoon series. “So what?” you’re probably not asking (but you are in this case) – this one fan by the name of Dan Lanigan and the united party of Doop cracked open their 125th can of slurm and whipped up a trailer for a real-life film based on our favourite pizza delivery boy.
“How can they get away with this without FOX suing them?” you’re also probably not asking (but you are in this case) – I’m not sure… but as it’s a fan-made homage, it could be classified as satire / parody. But I’m not a Hyper-Chicken. Though the portrayal of a real-life Professor Farnsworth does resemble that Murdoch dude… or at least a walking melting candle.
