Chevy Chase Watches Xmas Vacation

by Matt Fulton December 22, 2015
written by Matt Fulton December 22, 2015

It’s that time of year where all the Christmas movies come off the shelf and get a work out on the DVD player. From Love Actually, Elf, Miracle On 34th Street, Scrooged… all the classics.

But the one that always gets quoted (and dare I say, hopefully not some scenes replicated) National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation – the 3rd in the original Griswold Vacation series.

Everyone’s favourite vacationer Clark Griswold, played by Chevy Chase, tries his damn hardest to have the best Christmas vacation ever for his family and extended, but everything ends up going pear-shaped.

To celebrate the annual screening of the Christmas film, celebrity social media giant WhoSay turned up at Chase’s front door to sit in on a private viewing of the film, with Chase commentating on various scenes.

A comforting watch to see and hear what Chase thinks too.

Chevy Chase Watches ‘Christmas Vacation’ For the First Time In…Chevy Chase looks back at National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation — and it is pure magic.
